Worship is for an audience of one: God, and is done by believers for Him. The secondary goal of worship, according to 1 Corinthians 14:26, is edification. Music and décor at New Hope are first and foremost for the glory of God and secondarily for the edification, or building up, of the believer.

God is worthy of our worship, and as a body we want to be unified and edified together in that worship.

We use the various backgrounds and gifts of the people God has brought to New Hope to serve the congregation as they praise God and worship Him. We love building up the body of Christ at New Hope as the body seeks Him, confesses to Him, and affirms His beauty and sovereign power together.
